As the world changes and moves towards Carbon Net Zero, we at Cleartherm are also finding ways we can decrease our Carbon footprint as much as possible.
Recently we have installed a series of 90KW Solar Panels to the roof of our factory. These were installed as part of a multitude of upgrades we made to our base over the past few years. The Solar Panels allow us to rely less on mains electricity, which is susceptible to power cuts and other damage outside of our control. The Panels allow us to have more control over our own power and to be able to store any excess power to keep our production line up and running even if there is a power cut. The Panels have been a well worth investment for the company as take the steps, like many others, towards being Carbon Neutral. We have also taken steps towards being a Carbon Neutral company in other ways, in particular with the acquisition of 5 fully electric vehicles.
